1.Bihar Diwas was celebrated on March 22nd across the state to commemorate the day when Bihar was carved out of the Bengal Presidency in the year 1912.March 22nd 2019 was the 107th foundation day of the state.

5.World Poetry Day is observed every year on March 21st by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). 10.National Science Day in Feb 28. It marks discovery of Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928. For this discovery, Sir C.V. Raman was awarded Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar launched STARS scheme (Scheme for Translational and Advanced Research in Science to fund Science projects). 12.NASA’s OSIRIS-Rex mission discovers evidence of water, particle plumes on asteroid Bennu among numerous other findings.The Osiris-Rex mission is expected to return samples to Earth in 2023 and before attempting to obtain a sample from the asteroid, it will map out Bennu's surface in detail and orbit the asteroid to calculate its mass.
